Professor Janet Wilson: Keynote address at International Conference in Bihar, India

Professor Janet Wilson (University of Northampton), Vice-President of NCUP, was recently an invited keynote speaker at a three day UGC and ISSR (India) sponsored international seminar held from 11 to 13 July in India on “Modern /postmodern literature in English: the urge for becoming”. Her topic was “Vulnerable Bodies: Post-9/11 Fiction and the Search for Meaning”.

This event was convened by Professor Siya Ram Rai, professor and head of the Postgraduate Department of English at Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University at Bhagalpur, on the southern bank of the Ganga in the state of Bihar.
