Registration open for the HEPI / Elsevier Research Conference, Thursday 3 November 2022, Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), London

Dear Colleague,

Building on our programme of work on research, HEPI is working in partnership with Elsevier to host a half-day conference looking to the future of research in UK higher education, on Thursday 3 November 2022 from 9.30am (registration) to 2pm (with lunch included).

This half-day conference will provide a forum for senior leaders and policymakers from across the sector to discuss a range of key issues relation to the future of UK research, with sessions looking at:

  • UK research on a global stage – reflecting on REF 2021 and the path to 2.4%
  • The security and resilience of UK research funding in the future
  • The kind of research culture that enables researchers to take risks
