Awards to NCUP Council Members

Two NCUP council members have recently been given awards for services to their professions
Ken Eaton was awarded a medal by the Faculty of Dental Practice (UK) [FGDB (UK)] in May 2021.
Since the FGDP (UK) was founded in 1992, only three other people have been awarded the Faculty’s
medal. The FDGP (UK) was until 30 June 2021 part of the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS Eng) and
since then has become an independent body, the College of General Dentistry.

Roger Watson was awarded an honorary degree by the University of Maribor in Slovenia on 21
September 2021. It was awarded for outstanding accomplishments and merits in the development
and operations of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Maribor and in increasing its
reputation.
