Publication of Re-forming World Literature; Katherine Mansfield and the Modernist Short Story

Professor Janet Wilson’s coedited collection  of essays (with Dr Gerri Kimber), Re-forming World Literature; Katherine Mansfield and the Modernist Short Story, was published in April 2018 by Ibidem–Verlag Press in their Studies in World Literature series. It features articles by renowned Mansfield and modernist scholars like Enda Duffy,  Maurizia Boscagli, Sydney Janet Kaplan, and Claire Davison.  Janet Wilson’s article is titled ‘“Kew Gardens” and “Miss Brill”: Katherine Mansfield and Virginia Woolf as Short Story Writers’.

This ground-breaking collection originated at a conference on Katherine Mansfield in 2016,  convened by the Katherine Mansfield Society, of which Gerri Kimber is Chair and Professor Wilson is Vice-Chair. It was held in Bandol in the South of France, where Mansfield stayed for brief periods in 1915 and 1918 .
